The picture looks too dark / light. My dog is too small in the picture. I'm in the picture. CAN YOU FIX THIS? Yes! Most of the time I can make the changes that my clients want, and I will let you know if I can't. When doing an event I can shoot anywhere from 1000-5000 pictures (yes, really!) so I upload photos after doing a quick once over. Sometimes that means they may be a little too bright or dark. If I can't remove you from the picture I can often fade out or blend backgrounds so that the "spotlight" is on your animal and not on you. When you request a change, I don't submit an order to the printer or put it on a disk to send to you, until you are happy with what you see. If you are not happy, neither am I; no order is complete until you are totally satisfied!
Do you print your own pictures? Do you print on site? No and no. I use a professional photolab that has been in the business for over 65 years. You get excellent photographs on Kodak paper printed by professionals. I understand the desire to have a photo then and there, I prefer to leave the printing to professionals and stick to what I do best, taking the photographs that will give you beautiful, long-lasting memories.
What do you shoot? Primarily dogs. Mostly dog sports; agility, dock diving, disc dogs, etc. I love seeing dogs in action, performing, or just being dogs. I also enjoy doing portraits, preferrably outside in the dog's environment. I don't mind getting dirty. Matter of fact, I prefer it. My best shots are from being patient and watching. My other shoots involve macro (close-up), nature, other animals, the occasional person, and photojournalism. My work has been published in newspapers, magazines, and I've had the honor of doing photos of Janet Rahn for publication on the Purina website. I eagerly volunteer my time and efforts with rescue work.

Do you do weddings? No, there are many fine wedding photographers. I know dogs, I love dogs. I shoot what I know best.
